DeskDirect Global expands print network

Hybrid mail specialist, DeskDirect Global, has expanded its international network of print and mail processing centres after signing contracts with Glasgow-based Document Outsourcing.

Document Outsourcing will print and process documents sent by DeskDirect Global customers for postal delivery in the UK.

DeskDirect Global provides hybrid mail services to businesses of any size that want to cut the cost, time and environmental impact of sending mail.

Using the DeskDirect Global service, businesses can create and securely send documents electronically to be printed, folded, inserted, sealed and sorted at Document Outsourcing’s processing plant ready for final delivery into the postal service.

Document Outsourcing specialises in producing print for local government organisations and the debt collection industry. The company currently produces 60 million documents a year at its 15,500 sq ft plant which has the capacity to produce 130 million documents annually.

“This deal gives us access to mail volumes and new sources of business which have previously been inaccessible to us,” says Document Outsourcing’s sales director, Gerry Crawley.

“Working with DeskDirect Global means we have access to and can offer our customers high volume batch print jobs without the lengthy set-up period and environmental inefficiencies that typically hound this kind of work.  With this service, customers can upload, print and distribute their direct marketing materials safely, efficiently and with great quality results.”

Mark Worsley, CEO of DeskDirect Global, says: “We’re effectively enabling businesses to outsource their mail requirements and dramatically reduce their reliance on desktop printers, giving a better quality, lower cost and far more efficient solution.

“Document Outsourcing has a great industry reputation for providing high quality business services to their customers and we’re delighted to have them on board.”
